The Opportunity

A Better Way to Move Things in Space

Every spacecraft ever built carries the same crippling burden: it must carry the propellant it intends to expel. That single constraint shapes the size, range, mission duration, and economics of every program in space. It is the single largest cost line in modern space operations.

EMGravity is building a device that creates directional force from electricity alone — no propellant, no exhaust, no moving parts. The underlying invention is described in our provisional patent application, and the technical case is laid out in detail under NDA.

If we are right — and the open replication program is designed precisely to answer that question with rigor — the addressable market spans every satellite, orbital platform, lunar lander, and deep-space mission planned for the next several decades.

Why Now

The Window

The Patent Window Is Open

The provisional filing locks in priority, but converting to a full non-provisional within twelve months — with the strongest possible claims — is what determines long-term defensibility. Capital deployed now goes directly into expanding that protection.

Replication Network Already Active

An open replication program is live on this site. Independent builders worldwide are being equipped to test the device. Every credible third-party confirmation compounds enterprise value far beyond the cost of the program.

Aerospace Demand Is Asymmetric

The economics of any propellantless propulsion technology that even partially works are extraordinary. Space agencies, defense primes, and satellite operators all have an existing line item for fuel they would rather not need.

Use of Funds

Where the Capital Goes

Indicative allocation for the current round. Detailed budget, milestones, and runway model are included in the data room.

Prototype Development

55%

Materials, fabrication, and the dedicated lab space needed to build successive generations of the device. Each iteration informs the next set of patent claims and reduces the path to a working unit.

Measurement & Verification

20%

Precision force-measurement equipment, vacuum chambers, RF instrumentation, and third-party verification by an independent lab. Independent confirmation is the credibility multiplier.

Patent Expansion

15%

Conversion of the provisional to a full non-provisional filing with expanded claims, plus international PCT filings into the major aerospace jurisdictions before the priority window closes.

Operations & Reserve

10%

Founder runway, legal, accounting, and a working reserve to keep the program moving while the next funding round is structured.
